Vision

create2connect enables companies, governments and non-governmental organizations to realize sustainable transformations.
We imagine a society where people enjoy healthy and sustainable products, where technology and services are tuned to the user. We envision a world in which people, organizations and their stakeholders, and the environment flourish in the long run too.

create2connect listens, creates and connects. We listen attentively, ask questions and search for underlying patterns. We look out for obstacles on the road ahead and enquire to generate new opportunities. We make visible how the organization and its people can be productively connected to their markets and their stakeholders. By developing scenario’s and analyzing trends or issues for example, or scanning the organization structure and culture for improvements.
We create solutions together with our clients, because that provides a firm commitment to change and the prospect of transformational leadership to emerge. We use all the expertise that is already available in-company and add to it new knowledge and ways of working, based on our experience in the field. Above all, we enable our clients to create a vision of what can be realized by reaching out into the future as it emerges, using vision workshops or project start-ups.
The next step is to make that image of the future very tangible. By precisely formulating what has to change in business strategy and corporate communication, in structure and culture of the organization and in its leadership. In the form of a new mission and/or vision, an effective campaign or lobby, in fruitful stakeholder management, in well defined change projects, or in teamcoaching and leadership development.
And with those tangible results in mind we support our clients to take full responsibility for executing plans, and get into action. After making plans we don´t just close the door behind us, but we stay involve in developments. Because entering a connection is something you do to realize sustainable success, while both learning from it.

	• Leontine Gast started The Terrace at the beginning of 2006, a branding consultancy for sustainable branding. She is the founder of the biological productline at Albert Heijn, the biggest Dutch retailer.
	• Dianne Potters is a consultant on strategy and communication in sustainability since 2008. Before she worked as Head of Corporate Communications at Orange and was responsible for the CSR-policy of the company.
	• Walter Berghoef is management consultant and coach. I do not cooperate with him yet, but his work has made such a profound impression, that I really like to recommend him here. He brings people, starting from their individual responsibilities, to coureagous conversations. Conversations that go to the heart of the matter!
	• Reos Partners is an international confederation of organisations dedicated to supporting and building capacity for innovation in complex social systems. They facilitate results-oriented multi-stakeholder collaboration within and across business, government, and civil society organisations. They've led innovation processes in local health care systems and in global sustainable food systems; they've facilitated three-day workshops and three-year innovation processes; they've served community-based groups and worked with some of the largest corporations in the world.

• Henk Krijnen is an inspiring partner to work with. He specializes in strategic vision development for the public cause. Sharply analytical he explores and connects people, ending up with a clearly formulated strategic vision.
• Pierre Hupperts is one of the most asked experts on CSR in the Netherlands. He is a independent consultant since 1999 in the area of strategy development and implementation of CSR. He worked with dozens of companies and ngo's.

Who

Since 2005 I work (again) as a management consultant and executive coach, mainly with business organizations that take corporate social responsibility serious. But with just as much pleasure I work with nongovernmental organizations and governments. People that I worked with see me as a entrepreneurial consultant and coach with a strong sense for what is happening in markets and in the social sphere.

As a consultant my strength lies in connecting the outside (customers/citizens, markets, social issues) with the inside (organizational change, leadership development). Making enthusiastic, helping to chart a course, supporting the realization of vision and organizational change, facilitating leadership development. Energetic, optimistic, a go-getter with a listening ear.

Originally I was educated as a political scientist and as a manager I followed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA). Besides that I am a transformational coach, certified trainer in project management and vision creation (Kern Konsult) and Insights practitioner for personal assessments. I am a mindfulnesstrainer and was trained by Otto Scharmer en Peter Senge (Presencing Institute, Boston, USA) as facilitator for Presencing/Theory U.

Claudia Barrulas is a consultant dedicated to supporting and building capacity in the field of leadership for sustainable development and innovation. After living and working in Europe, Asia and the Americas, she has settled in The Netherlands and her focus is on education, cross-cultural partnerships, co-creation, and leadership for sustainable development and innovation.

Claudia is associated to Reos Partners (www.reospartners.com), an international organisation dedicated to supporting and building capacity for innovative collective action in complex social systems. Through Reos, she is part of the stewarding team of the Finance Lab (http://thefinancelab.ning.com/) in the UK, an initiative sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and its partners, and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-UK). The Finance Lab is designed to take practical action to stimulate transformational change in the financial system, by creating a space in which key actors can think and do the ‘extraordinary’ to pave a way for a sustainable financial system of the future. Whilst the initiative is UK-based it is global in its focus and ambitions.

Claudia is an experienced international professional within the global financial services industry. She has worked in a variety of roles within the areas of investment bank and asset management, and since 2005 she has specialised in emerging markets, which allowed her to travel extensively across continents, and work intensively in challenging multi-cultural environments.

Claudia holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Lisbon and a master’s degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from HEC Paris in collaboration with the Said Business School of the Oxford University. Her master’s thesis was based on research work done in the year 2008, and focused on the challenges faced by western leaders working for multinational companies in Mainland China when leading local Chinese. Born in Portugal, she has spent large part of her adult life living and working abroad. She sees herself as a citizen of the world, and a permanent student of life. She has a deep interest in the art of self-mastery, sustainability and contribution to a better world.
